RC Yacht

(AoneD)

My name is Tom Koop. I am the designer and builder of the AoneD RC Yacht. After an attempt at building an EC 12, I decided to go with this new design, the AoneD. In February of 2003 she finally sailed. Sadly though it sat on the shelf for almost a year and a half.

The design finally made its debut sometime around July of 2004 on a race day in Elk Grove, CA. He was happy to see that it was well Liked. He did not expect, however, for people to want to purchase them. It was then that He decided to begin building and selling the boats. The first two sold that very day, and when they were delivered, the (A O N E D) class was born.

In the beginning Tom never thought the boat would be so successful and as things progress the popularity seems to rise. He has gotten his production methods smoothed out and has an effective system of creating and delivering boats.

For the future Tom hopes to see more boats in many different areas.
